Zoo-ts You Sir

Creating an air of distinction when you’re in a suit often comes down to finding the right fit, ensuring everything is put together just-so, with creases in exactly the right places. If you’re looking for other ways to stand out from the crowd, accessories are where you’ll be able to have a little more fun. Ties and socks, sure. A pocket square? Lovely. But when it comes to making the little details count, we have a predilection for a striking set of cufflinks.

If you’re looking for the perfect gift for someone who’s looking for accessories that’ll turn them into the ‘mane’ event, help them bring out their inner king of the jungle with this set of sterling silver or 24ct gold plate cufflinks, inspired by the lions of South Luangwa in Zambia. Lions across the world are under threat from poaching, and funding from Tusk is helping organisations like Conservation South Luangwa to increase anti-poaching and animal trafficking prevention.

If the recipient of our cufflinks is prone to looking sharp, they can draw on the noble power of the Black Rhino with this design inspired by the Namibian rhinos which have been steadily recovering their population since the 1980s. Coming in at 28mm, this neat set of links have been hallmarked by the London Assay Office, who have been testing the purity of metal since 1327 - so you can be sure the solid sterling silver will stand the test of time.

We’ve named our elephant cufflinks Gourma, after the area in Mali where a unique population of sub-desert elephants are living - there are approximately 550 at the moment, but four years ago it was estimated that the entire population would be wiped out by the end of 2021. Tusk has been supporting the Mali Elephant project in bringing the community together to train and mobilise an anti-poaching unit to protect the migration route of these magnificent beasts. Our sterling silver cufflinks are finely chased by hand, to keep you looking magnificent, too.

Grant Macdonald Silversmiths are proud to support the work of Tusk, a dynamic and pioneering organisation with over 25 years of initiating and funding conservation, community development and environmental education programmes across Africa. Support is needed to continue their vital work in protecting the wildlife rich environment, and our craftsmen are constantly seeking new ways to create miniature masterpieces, from which we donate 20% to Tusk to support their conservation work.
