Grant Macdonald: Creating the Tusk collection

Tusk’s mission is to amplify the impact of progressive conservation initiatives across Africa.

For almost 30 years, Tusk have helped pioneer an impressive range of successful conservation initiatives across more than 20 countries, increasing vital protection for over 10 million acres of land and more than 40 different threatened species. But the threat to Africa’s unique natural heritage remains more urgent than ever.

Inspired by the work that Tusk do Grant Macdonald wanted to make a contribution, first we made our large one of a kind lion Ruaha which is a 1:4 scale model of a walking lion.  To complement this we have now made a range of medium and miniature collectible animals.

These animals have been made using the very latest technology, modelled using CAD software and grown in castable wax using stereolithography,  after this, they are hand finished in the traditional way.

The miniature animals are £125 each and the medium are:

Luangwa Lion £1400

Kunene Rhino £1500

Chyulu Elephant £1600

20% from the sale of each piece will be donated to Tusk.

Miniature animals are a limited edition of 100

Medium animals are a limited edition of 50
